The team have travelled 14 miles in the last day, a tremendous rate of progress which has left them feeling justifiably pleased with themselves. The ice conditions were fairly flat with the odd small sastrugi.
They are all very well and happy and morale is very good. The conditions are also good although it has clouded over a little, which is reducing visibility. On the other hand it is also allowing them to witness the most incredible cloud formations - we can expect some spectacular photographs to come back with the resupply plane at the halfway point (look out for them in the Photo Library).
There wasn't time for Rosie's report 'A night in the life of 5 girls in a tent' this time around - Julian and the team were discussing plans for the resupply and ran out of time - but we will hear from her in the very near future.
